In the heart of Chianti this typical farmhouse, whose origins most likely date back to the 1400s, was transformed into an oil mill in 1780 and then became a 'agriturismo', with a total renovation, in the 90s. The property stands on a hill with a 360 degree view over the whole valley, ranging from Barberino Tavernelle, to San Gimignano, from Volterra to the hills of Florence; the farmhouse, protected by the woods and surrounded by olive groves, develops around the ancient oil mill which has remained partly intact with the ancient millstone preserved inside the main structure, used today as a dining room.
This charming property on three levels has various external accesses, some overlooking the wonderful panorama that surrounds it and others on the pretty internal courtyard. The farmhouse, all in stone, preserves the characteristics of the Tuscan tradition; inside we find wooden beams, exposed walls, small brick vaults and even the furniture respects the peasant tradition. Divided into 5 apartments, for a total of 15 bedrooms, the property offers other common spaces such as the restaurant room which is currently used only for interiors but could potentially accommodate exteriors by modifying the license and a courtyard closed by windows, perfect for a yoga room, a gym, to host courses, do educational activities with children or other.

The whole hill is about 53ha divided as follows: 2ha of olive grove / vineyard, 26ha of arable land, 14ha7000 of woodland and 9ha of olive grove with about 600 plants that produce a highly prized Chianti organic oil that today gives excellent results with American customers. 40min from Florence, 30min from Siena, and halfway between San Donato and Castellina in Chianti which can be reached in about 10 minutes, this is the ideal place to go and live, or build your business by carrying on the work done by the current owners.
